Eco-innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility: A bibliometric study of the relationship between these constructs

Abstract

Purpose. Examine the current situation of the development of Eco-innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility constructs in world scientific production.

Methodology. The VOSviewer software and the Scopus platform were used to obtain the database with which a bibliometric analysis was carried out, showing the relationship between authors and publications of the proposed constructs.

Findings. The investigation of the relationship between Eco-innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility shows that from 2000 to 2022 they have been widely studied constructs and with a growing interest in the industry and in the scientific field.

Originality. The originality of this study lies in the importance of Eco-innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility as constructs since they are emerging and necessary issues for organizations in their compliance with sustainable-themed agendas.

Conclusions and limitations. A positive growth of scientific publications is observed where it is related to Eco-innovation and Corporate Social Responsibility, on the other hand, this research is limited by the database that was used.
