Interoperability protocols

Scientia et PRAXIS is committed to ensuring its content's discoverability, preservation, and interoperability through the adoption of international metadata and harvesting protocols. The journal supports automated metadata harvesting via the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI-PMH).

Specifications:

Protocol Version: OAI-PMH 2.0

Metadata Format: Dublin Core (DC), compatible with other standard formats used in institutional repositories and bibliographic databases.

OAI Base URL:
https://scientiaetpraxis.amidi.mx/index.php/sp/oai

This endpoint enables digital libraries, indexing services, aggregators, and long-term preservation platforms (e.g., LOCKSS, Internet Archive, OpenAIRE, RePEc) to harvest metadata in compliance with open science standards. It facilitates integration with platforms such as WorldCat, DOAJ, Latindex, OpenALEX, Google Scholar, and other scholarly indexing services.

The journal also adheres to semantic interoperability practices by ensuring that metadata includes persistent identifiers (e.g., DOI via Crossref), author identifiers (e.g., ORCID), and licensing metadata (e.g., Creative Commons), following guidelines from COPE, DOAJ, and the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
